I'm going to post this one as Q for QUARRELSOME although I had hoped to post it under P for Politician. It's actually a Roman comic actor or clown, but all are much the same: they shout and shout, but there's little worth hearing and nothing worth remembering.

T is for TRIX, a German construction toy similar to an American "Erector Set." This shot of a model in a museum shows part of an aerial ladder truck with remarkably complex gearing for a toy.

Like neolcmn, I'm recycling, but there's little hope for "X" (or zebras for "Z").

X is for XANTHOPHYLLS. Managed to get a few pictures of excellent fall color here, before Sandy cleared away almost every leaf.
