Officers' mess on the submarine USS Bowfin. Just about everything can be folded out of the way. Far more Spartan than the wardroom on the USS Missouri (posted on the micro four-thirds thread)

P is for Pronghorn

Antilocapra americana

in eastern part of the Grand Tetons National Park

misnamed as an antelope by the " Corps of Discovery "

QuoteQuote:
The North American pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is the surviving member of a group of animals that evolved in North America during the past 20 million years. It is not a true antelope, which is found in Africa and southeast Asia. The use of the term “antelope” seems to have originated when the first written description of the animal was made during the 1804–1806 Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Quad Gun (specifically, Bofors 40mm Quad Gun). Many times I've seen movies of these guns firing from a warship at attacking aircraft.

USS Missouri. This thing is really big. I think the flags are the "stations" where the Missouri was on active duty.

I think you're denying a claim of "W," so I'll do "W" with a windsurfer.
