Noelcmn thought cape buffalo were the most dangerous of African wildlife.

Douglas Dauntless, slow compared to the Zeros it fought, but much sturdier so it could take hits and keep fighting.

[ based on my limited knowledge I have no disagreement , I have been a lot closer on foot to Bison in YNP than I would ever want to be to Cape Buffalo although that could be because of my lack of intelligence ]

Fire control station on the Missouri from the outside. Armor-steel 17+ inches thick with a few slit-like portholes that can be covered by glass (shatterproof? it was not very thick) operated from the outside with a special removable crank.

Hallway at the Manoa Valley Inn. A classic "center hallway" house, you enter into this hall with rooms shut off by doors on either side and a staircase to upper floors, plus at the end of the hall a door out into a patio at the back of the house.

I wonder how many imbibing emporiums (emporia?) there are named "The Crown."

Japanese torpedo and bomb of the types used at Pearl Harbor. The torpedo has wooden fins attached that made it run along the surface so it would not hit the shallow bottom of the harbor.
