Q is for QUID. Could not find a one pound coin among travel leftovers, but this image is fairly sharp despite being a major crop from a picture in which the coin was used as a sizing scale for a fossil starfish.

R - Reflected light during renovations. A line of reflected light in the bottom of the sink bowl. The actual rim is in the bottom corners.

S is for SPHERES, lying around a prehistoric megalithic temple. They may have been used to roll massive stone blocks into place.

Here's an "X." Soft, blurry shot taken from a moving bus on a heavily overcast day (it had been snowing). I was trying to photograph paintings on buildings along the route.
