D is for DOLPHINS. This "Blue Dolphins" fresco is one of several from Knossos, all of which were found as fragments on the floor. Evans, who restored them, may have made a number of errors. This image may originally have been on the the wall of the room above this one. This is a reproduction, All the originals are in a museum.
