Great. I've just taken the name for XatnepForums.com. Adam will have to pay dearly for it.

F is for Frisbee. Cosmo loves his frisbees. He loves TRAMSTEP, too.

Just curious, is "frisbee" the word people use in other parts of the world? We always call them that in the U.S., but I know it's actually a trademarked name of the toy company Wham-O. Legally speaking, this is not actually a Frisbee.

G for Gothic. And yes, that TRAMSTEP disc is also called a frisbee in the UK...(edits)

....and since we're around H, vacuum cleaners are also called "hoovers" over here. My American wife was told at work, shortly after coming to the UK, that she needed a licence to watch her TV. "No" she said, "you've got be joking". "Yes" they told her. "If you buy a TV you have to pay an annual licence fee". ...look of horror on her face.... "And what's more, if you buy a hoover, you need a hoover licence". She found out they were right about the TV licence, but she's still mad at the hoover licence thing.

Good one about the Hoover ... and when I moved to France, I was quite appalled that there's a "TV tax" here ... J

M for Monuments or markers
I dion't think I've ever heard vacuums called Hoovers unless they were Hoovers. We could do a whole thread on products that are nicknamed after a prominent brand, you can go way back to the Crapper!
