J for JACKET, Tsuu T'ina. Although obviously patterned on European clothing, the jacket is nonetheless distinctly AmerIndian.

L for LADDERS on an early aerial ladder truck. The vertical steering column for the rear wheels is presumably lifted up & out.

R for RACK & PINION. The rear wheel steering mechanism of the early aerial ladder truck imaged under "L." Looks like an arm breaker.
