I came to Africa with a filtered view of reality - many wildlife programs that inevitably, sooner or later, have a cheetah running down a Thomson's gazelle - and news stories, especially when something went very bad, although not always, but mostly involving people-in-power. So I cast somewhat naive eyes on day-to-day ordinary life, the realities of local commerce, housing, travel, etc, etc., and find those things unique, unusual, fascinating enough to photograph. I'm really glad if the images intrigue, please, and maybe enlighten others.
