M for MUSK OXEN. Looks almost like a stand-off. Were these two males in breeding season, they would long since have crashed heads.

Don't know as the "desert rose" was new to me when I took several pictures of it. Will search a bit to see if I can find anything.

Answer is YES. There are several species of Adenium, so the common names might apply to slightly different plants and it is likely that both are used for A. multiflorum, BUT it may be that "impala lily" is used for A. multiflorum, and "desert rose" for A. obesum.

And please excuse my fumble-fingered typing for converting a xeric plant into an end-of-meal sweet treat.
