For something more prosaic than most of my recent posts, "M" is for MUD.

That's a really cool artistic creation. I never cease to be amazed at the imagination and creativity of true artists.

Yes, add to that tourists dollars, and you have every incentive to produce! Must say, I liked these form the moment I saw them, dirt cheap they were too, so bought quite a few and put a cheap frame around them, and viola, unique gifts for family and friends. They also came in a smaller version.

Considering the economic distress so many people face, I have no trouble with people that have some talent making an income however they can, although aggressive hawkers are guaranteed my most glacial shoulder.

Glad if you enjoy. Mostly I just record - the objects photographed make the image. I was intrigued by the mosques and their basilica style of architecture. The "mood" inside is quite different from that in a great Gothic cathedral. The space is more open and boxy, the floor is covered by a thick rug and there are no chairs. It sounds different inside. Small noises seem to travel throughout the structure. I suspect it's connected to the large equi-dimensional volume of very still air and way sound waves can be concentrated by each of multiple dome and semi-dome vaults - to be a little analytic.

You are welcome Sage97. It was awesome to be inside it, though it was a squeeze, what with the potbelly. I should have climbed the ladder too!
