A man at the local Wal Mart was in parking lot giving away puppies and I picked the one with the most spots.
Her Name is Ming, about 7 yrs old in this pic. She is mixed with ahhhemmm.... Rat Terror, I mean rar terrior.
I like that she has the blue and red markings. She is self training and very smart. We do not have livestock so Ming spends most of the day herding me. I call her my 'personal stalker'. Well behaved, self training, and fearless.

Sherrvonne, obviously you've got a good dog there.
The Australian Cattle Dog was bred in the mid 19th century from a drover's dog and a dingo (Australian native dog), also known as Blue Heelers, Red Heelers and Queensland Heelers.

Edit: here's a wiki entry that details introduction of the dog to US and Canada.

FYI: If you've never seen nor heard about the ACD named "Skid Boot" try googling the name. A remarkably smart dog who, had he been trained that way, might have been able to learn as well as the now-famous border collie "Chaser." AND, if you don't know about "Chaser," read about the dog that learned the names of over 1,000 objects (toys) and could follow three word commands, if the word order was correct.
