Trucks, which I think is the term used for these replaceable RR wheels + axles.

An ZION NP one last time. The foot trail to the innermost point you can go without starting to wade in the Virgin River. For those not familiar with Zion, the canyon narrows as you walk in, but there isn't much diminution of the depth below the plateau above, so eventually you're in a narrow and spectacularly deep slot with a river shallow enough to wade pretty much extending from one wall of the canyon to the other.

Entrance. The originally discovered entry to the Mammoth Cave system, used for many years as the tourist entry. You can still walk down and in for a short distance, but there's a new tourist main entry at another spot. They may bus people from the parking lots there to this spot with a guide who can open the gates inside for a tour. I posted a different image of this spot recently on the "Earth's Bones" thread.

Gastropod, elaborately etched (engraved? carved?.) Not quite sure of the correct name for this type of work. I've watched it being done in Italy. They use small awls, wood handle with sharp metal insert, working by hand scratching off the outer shell layers little by little. Each artisan has his/her own tool set that nobody else touches.
