Jewelry. I doubt they wear all this bead work for day-to-day. It's put on for tourists who visit their village. Tiny glass beads were introduced here unknown years ago, probably replacing natural materials such as shells, feathers, quills, bits of horn etc for making adornments. However, as with the First Nations people of the Americas, the people here have made the beads their own, incorporating them into distinctive patterns and jewelry pieces. The pectorals worn by the lady in the background I found especially beautiful.
