Leaves. Ooops, momentarily lost track of where we were again. Maybe nobody saw it this time.

Never heard of it, but what a great name for a plant. If ever we get another dog, I think Ill call it "Nagoonie" just because it's fun to say.

Queen Anne's Lace along a path that we walk. It's blooming in extraordinary numbers this year. The field off to the right has hundreds times more in bloom than are visible in this picture.

Scary looking stuff!

You could have used that for "X" as well...

It was intended for the X actually but I got side tracked with this pressure to reach 45000 . It is a popular form of security around here, and I have it also around the church manse where I live.

that is frightening to think you need such security

some times we don't know how good we have it

but we are not totally immune we have had attacks on places of worship here as well.

Two factors dictate the use of such materials, one being that crime is quite high in SA-and I have had two burglaries in under a year. The other reason being that I live and minister in a drug ridden community, and addicts will do just about anything -even stealing from a church- to get the means to feed that terrible habit! The break-ins I've mentioned, have happened despite the razor wire and spiked fence.
