Bottle whale skeleton, in a shopping mall making a point about the dangers/problems of plastic in the oceans, and encouraging recycling or elimination of plastics AFAP. I would not mind going back to glass bottles that are washed* and reused, except the waste water from the cleaning would instantly become a major environmental concern. It isn't the products or the waste, it's the quantity, which leads to the real problem = too many people, which no politician is even willing to open or address.
*Wasn't it David Copperfield who for a while was working as a bottle washer? Perhaps it was Oliver Twist. It's been a long time since I read either of those classics.
