The roof is metal all around! I have never seen a “hybrid” roof like you described, but it sounds like a good idea!

I’ve only seen a few and the location matters. The ones I’ve seen were in mountain valleys where the sun hitting the roof is delayed and the total time it gets sunlight is reduced. The asphalt shingles hold heat longer and extend the drying I think as well.

I think these were taken with either the SMC DA 21mm Ltd or SMC DA 40mm Ltd on the KP.
