Here are a couple of stitched panoramas from the Vatican. First is inside St Peter's Basilica, the second is the view from on top. Both taken with the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 and K3. It's a shame about the flare in the second one, which looks particularly odd in that position as it's not on the other side of the image from the sun.

Wow! Wish I'd had a camera as capable as the K3 years ago when I was there. Your shot of the interior is amazing! I have the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and it's reasonably resistant to lens flare, but gets some odd shadow flares sometimes. The flare is on the opposite side of the lens from the sun, even though it's not on the opposite side of the image.

Very nice! I need to travel with someone patient enough to let me set up a tripod!

K-1 & 15-30, 5 vertical shots
I was pretty close so it needed a lot of perspective correction. Seemed to work out ok.

After this weeks bushfire in Tathra (southern NSW coast), which destroyed 65 houses and 35 caravans or cabins, and also damaged 48 houses, I thought I'd post this one of Kianinny (just outside town) taken in 2015. I believe the area behind where I stood burnt. (I have family in Tathra but they only suffered inconvenience and worry).

The lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I think there are six verticals stitched for this. It covers just about 180 degrees, the bus/car entry at left, the windows looking out into the grounds at right. The bright strip at floor level on the opposite is one of the restaurants ("Whispering Canyon" = a joke because the wait staff makes it one of the most raucous eateries in the park). I did not bring a tripod (too dangerous to use with so many people) so I braced the camera on the balcony railing, but even so, some of the stitched images are softer because of camera motion.

It's a nice part of the coast, I did part of my scuba diving course in the bay next to the boat ramp.
