Been long time I hadn't use my crop sensor gear, and especially the 15 Ltd... I am still impressed by its capabilities and it still controls my mind...

Snow was almost all melt when a snow fall remembered us that Winter had not said its last word on early April.
I also wanted to immortalize this Oak tree that I often see along the road.

This panorama photo is a result of 9 portrait images merged in LR.
Taken handheld with the Pentax K-3ii and the famous SMC Pentax-DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited "controls my mind" lens.

Two panos from Iceland. I had forgotten that I took multiple images to make these, until I came across them when looking for something else. the first one is taken from atop a volcanic structure that was used as a natural fort by a family way back in Viking early settlement time. You can see that there's a central depression or crater with a good sized wall, except at left at the top of the easiest way up the outside slope. This gap was partially closed by a stone wall constructed by the people who allegedly took refuge here, but it's difficult see that stonework from where I'm standing along the near-circular rim, nor can you see where the rim drops to the floor of the crater just in front of me because of the way the rock texture of the rim & crater floor blend together. I've posted other pictures from atop and within this natural "safe place."
The second pano looks out beyond the little volcano, perhaps onto the plain where the people who used this fortified spot lived & farmed.

On the right is the village of Tudes in Cantabria. This was taken by stitching four HDR shots from the DA 15mm.

Apparently it really is springtime here in central NC:

K-1 in super-res mode, Mirex tilt/shift adapter, Pentax-A 645 macro 120/4. Two-shot shift panorama.
