This is a frail thing to follow the stunning panos posted above. I was trying to capture the bluish band crossing about at the center of the image, made by hundreds and hundreds of wild iris called "blue flag" that are just passing their peak. A crop, not a multi-file stitch.

I know this doesn't compete with the gorgeous landscapes that are posted here but I thought I'd post my experiments with depth of field (Brenizer effect?)... 12-picture panorama taken with K10D and the SMC-M 50mm f/1.7 wide open. Once I have nicer subjects available and also nicer weather the technique should serve me well
