During my 3 year tour in Germany I often drove to Heidelberg. At the time I had a Pentax SV with a Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8. From the Schloss I took two two images as a sort of one slide after another panorama. Lo and behold, 53 years later, I scanned the slides and imported them into Lightroom. Presto, change-oh, I now have a single image panorama ca1966. Amazing.

I went back and had another look and found another slide for a 3 image panorama.
Nice!!!

I was there in 2015. I recognized the scene immediately before I had time to read the text. Main features has stayed the same thru the years. Thanks for posting.

EDIT: Cropped a pano from a shot I took in 2015 from almost the same spot with K30 and 18-135.

Cheddar gorge in England. A lot of dynamic range to deal with due to the shadows and bright sunlight on either side of the gorge.

An abandoned home/farmstead in Iceland. It looked to me like something out of a Gothic novel, the ruins of Manderley from Rebecca.
