Beautiful image! My computer with 16 GB would take forever to do that kind of stitch until I added another 16 GB and now it sews them together much faster.

But the results are fantastic! Appreciate the effort (and you sharing it with us).

Thank you, the RAM is a good idea!

Nice shot! It looks like it's taken from Odaiba? Could you resize each frame smaller, then stitch? I use the free Microsoft stitching tool and so far I have been able to use it without resizing, but I don't think I've tried 15 images, and the PC is an i7 with 16GB of RAM and an SSD main drive.

Accidental pano () -
Past half way through a series of shots looking for the best composition for a weir on the Wear under Durham cathedral, I realised that I would be able to make a pano out of them, and I as pleased with the result, given that it was never my intention and hand held, with no particular attempt to get regular overlaps or keep the horizon in the same place

Thank you a lot, and Yes, it is from Odaiba. I was on the last section of the Rainbow bridge on Odaiba's side. I walk cross the bridge late afternoon and wait for the sunset.
I used to use the freeware from Microsoft too. It works very well. It was before adobe offer auto image stitching tool.
This one was done by Adobe CameraRaw. I overlap about 30% when taking each photo and throw them into the CamerRaw without adjust anything. Then select merge to panorama and postprocess the merged image after that. It looks like CameraRaw will fallback to default setting when stitch the images. It will ignore all the custom setting like crop, whit balance, etc , that's why I didn't process the image before stitch.

Take a break but don't give up on creating such an image. I would love to see - probably everyone on PF would love to see more such beautiful work.

Thanks! I've only been to Odaiba at night.

OK, stitching from 15 raw images will use a lot of memory. Unfortunately I don't use any Adobe editors, so I can't suggest anything there. Hopefully someone else has worked with huge stitches and can advise.

Same idea as my last post just above, a pano by cropping of a subject that's a natural for the format.
