Thanks! I used to use a polarising filter all the time with film, but I found that the colour saturation with digital was so high, that it wasn't usually needed. But sure, a polariser would take the reflection off the leaves, reduce the contrast and improve the saturation. To take this scene in a single frame, I'd have to use the 8-16mm lens, and a polariser for that would be very expensive!
