A couple of sunrise panoramas from when I was working in northern BC, taken with my old K10D, two shots each.
16-45 @ 16mm.

This is un-real !! Wow ! I have no words - those clouds . - TFS . Which begs the question - how did you deal with cloud movement (if there was one) while stitching (presuming a stitched pano) ?

Lovely, the silhouettes of those (church?) towers make it very attractive. (and it looks cold).

Thanks. I didn't really worry about the clouds, they're only two shots each. No tripod or planning, just saw some nice sunrises and took a couple shots.

Real eye catching and holding images. You cannot decide to take such an image, but you must be willing to take the opportunity when it arrives, and the response time is short.

Waves breaking along the shore are a natural for a pano by cropping.

Lots of detail in there Rob, checked the Flickr page. very nice. I also see sheen on the leaves, which AFAIK happens when CPL is absent, and one of the banes of stitched pano is that CPLs are very very difficult to use. All in all a very detailed pano and a pleasing composition complimented by lovely fluffy clouds. - TFS

Thanks! I used to use a polarising filter all the time with film, but I found that the colour saturation with digital was so high, that it wasn't usually needed. But sure, a polariser would take the reflection off the leaves, reduce the contrast and improve the saturation. To take this scene in a single frame, I'd have to use the 8-16mm lens, and a polariser for that would be very expensive! Thanks for the feedback!

That's another pleasing pano Rob. On the CPL, AFAIK they generate some strange results beyond 90 Deg FOV, irrespective of a single-frame or a stitched pano. Sometimes I use a combination method, if time and subject permit, that is. One frame with CPL, and the other without. partially polorised sky (if FOV > 90) is replaced from the no-CPL-frame. TFS again.
