Leaving Glacier Bay National Park, summer 2016. We all crowded the bow for the show. There were only two of us that went to the stern to watch as we left. It was almost as good a show as the ice face.
I found the cruise ship to be a fairly stable platform for taking multi-image panoramics with tripod, even though the ship was in constant motion. I had no idea if they would turn out when I took them.
I have dozens of panos of Glacier Bay not yet assembled, about 125-130GB of RAW+JPG data. At the time, my old laptop was not up to the task. In addition, I made the mistake of not shooting in manual mode. Working on this image today reminded me that manual exposure adjustment of frames is tedious.
Ten landscape images shot with K-1 & 28-105 followed by actual pixel crop. Original cropped dimensions after stairsteps 25120x4850.
