Monument multi-file pano. This view includes the "Mittens," but taken more from the south so the mitten shape doesn't show on the spire to the right.

I made a test with the Pentax K-1 Pixel Shift mode and Panorama merge feature in Lr6.
Those panoramas are made of 4 horizontal images with and without Pixel Shift mode enabled (Note that each pixel shift image is a in-body merge of 4 images).
You should download the full size image to better see the details and compare it to the next image.

Both taken with FA*85mm f/1.4 @ f/8, 200 ISO, exposure varied between 25s and 30s (my error)

Weevil - if it was me I'd be blending those two images together in PS, the cloud detail in the second pic is great, but the light in the first is also great - I'd want BOTH! Very jealous of the beautiful place you live.

Thanks, not sure how I can do that, but maybe i could enhance them in Lr to get both results in one image?

If your version of LR has a HDR function, you might try that out.

Here are a couple of panoramas from the Galician coast. Both taken with the M 35mm f/2.
