First visit to this thread. I'm really impressed with all the fine images.

Walkerville, Victoria, Australia. Looking across Waratah Bay to Wilsons Promontory. Three shots taken with K-3 and FA 50 f2.8 macro, handheld; stitched with Microsoft ICE.

An 8 photo pano of the access lane that gets me to the part of my property that is along the riverbank. The gate is where the road crosses my neighbor's Southern property line, my property lies to the North, further along the lane.

I left the camera focused on the area of the gate on purpose, to emulate a large format image. K5IIs, Sigma 135mm f2.8 Pantel lens.

And I'll follow that up with a vertical pano. 32 shots in a double row, landscape orientation, stitched with Microsoft ICE, processed in Photoshop. The final image is 7915x28734, 227.4 megapickles.

While browsing today I came across Wikipedia:Featured pictures and on to Wikipedia:Featured pictures/Places/Panorama and thought others may be interested/inspired.

Attached are my takes on Richmond Bridge (4 shot stitched panorama) and Loch Ard Gorge (cropped panorama):
