My first stitching attempt using the Lightroom Photo Merge -> Panorama feature.

The source images were shot in a real hurry using my K200D with DA 18-55 so I am pleased with the result.

Save those great skies for terrific shots with cloudless or dull looking skies.

I agree. It would be wonderful to see that image in a very large print.

What he said.
On a wall.

Possibly backlit, in a darkened room.

Very powerful image Ray.

You're really getting some great work from that K10.

Thank you, Racer. The K10D may be old but it is still very capable.

Only four files to build this pano of Natural Bridge, Kentucky. There is little room to back up, unless you want to drop down. Three verticals taken with a Venus 11mm.

My wife and I went to the Cyprus Walk on the Tamiami Trail in February looking for wildlife. I had a camera with a long telephoto and another camera with a shorter lens since some of the animals are fairly close. We spotted this "strangler" tree so I dropped the long lens, seen on the boardwalk in the photo, and took a series of handheld shots. This is from a series of two columns with 10 shots in each column - 20 total images. The stitch was difficult since doing a handheld pano involving stitching fairly extreme angles results in a lot of bad alignment. My wife was moving around so her image had to be masked out of a number of the shots. My tripod and panohead were comfortably waiting for us when we returned to our hotel. This coming February I will visit again - packing the tripod and panohead in the car.
