Black-crowned night heron. Not as much of a challenge as you might imagine. I've seen these birds stand motionless for half an hour or more.

Two landscape frames stitched in Lightroom. Vivitar 200mm f3.5 on a K5ii

Pseudo-pano = a crop from a single UWA image file, not a stitch of multiple files. Lake Arcadia, just down the street from our house. As best I can tell, the scum on the water is primarily pollen. Pine trees in particular seem to have produced an exceptional quantity of pollen this Spring.

That is one HUGE pano, Racer. As expected, loads of detail there. How long did it take your computer to process that?

This is a stitched panorama of the village of Alquézar in Aragon, Spain. It's widely regarded as one of the most picturesque villages in Spain, something I can certainly agree with.

Thanks Ray.

That view has become a favorite stop for me. I was a bit unsure when I made this one those, as the mountain had some odd light or have over the flanks. I had been out that day looking for a few local landmarks to shoot, and for most the light just wasn't right.

So I thought of Mount Pilchuck, and noted the day was wearing on, and thought that I might get some good sunset light on it. I arrived a little early, about 2 hours before sunset. I also noticed that if I waited for the day ending light the shadows would have taken the light away from the barn and the farmhouse in the foreground, so I went ahead and made the exposures.

A few minutes for the assembly and stitching.

Then I spent another few minutes doing some minor post processing, levels, shadows and highlights, etc.

That is a town with buildings and location that look as though they were created by an artist, or perhaps a film crew wanting a perfect setting and backdrop for a romantic movie. M & I have not toured in Spain, so it has been on our bucket list for quite a while.

Nothing pseudo about it, panorama refers to the shape (no hard/fast rule but generally means it has a horizontal aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger) not how you got there. Stitching is one way, cropping is another.

Many shots posted here are not actually panoramas, merely stitched images, but welcome none the less.
