Another 5 portrait image merge.

11 image merge.
The middle image really emphasizes the Big Sky aspect of Montana.

Nice work Steve.

Cana Island & Lighthouse, Door County, Wisconsin. K-5, A* 300 F4 and Pentax-A 2X teleconverter. Distance approximately one half mile over the bay. 23 images, 41092x4904 pixels after crop to eliminate stair steps. Manually aligned in CS6E using difference, then autoblend. Probably have dozens of unassembled panoramics of this island from different years and times of the day. When I took them I did not have a computer that could process them in a timely fashion. Now the computer is a little better, but not enough hours to complete them in a timely fashion!

Cana Island & Lighthouse

Actual Pixel Crop from above panoramic for scale. If you look at the bottom of the top ball you can see the holes for venting the exhaust produced by burning lamp oil. Today the lens uses a small 200 watt bulb, if memory serves.

CIL Panoramic Detail, actual pixels

I believe these are the Mamturk Mtns in the west of Co. Galway.

The composite image was made in Affinity Photo from about 10 JPEGs from my K-5 with a DA 50 mm f/1.8.
