Speaking of Ireland, I did see quite a bit of blue sky there, but not in this panorama. Plenty in other photos that weren't panoramas!

Wow, I can't imagine anywhere in Ireland being so brown! I didn't get to visit the Connacht when I went to Ireland. My family name is from Roscommon, although the ancestors I can trace are from Meath. Thanks from posting some photos from the Connacht!

My pleasure! Believe it or not, Connemara is incredibly brown all but about four months of the year. There are loads of rushes, heathers and peat-specific grasses there that don't green up until right about now. It is, however, a gorgeous place even when it is brown (and the weather is cooperating).

Well, that does really surprise me considering how green the parts of Ireland were that I saw! On the other hand, I live in Australia's only inland capital, where it's often dry and most of the green is the drab of eucalyptus.

Funny about some species of eucalyptus, their leaves look as though someone forgot to go over them with a dust rag for several years, or maybe they were growing to close to where a lot of drywall work was being done.

In the Australian inland, they probably are coated with years worth of dust!

Thanks, we were in the Town Hall tower, the astronomical clock is on the side of the town hall (covered in scaffolding when we were there).
