Pano by cropping.There was a strong onshore wind and these little shorebirds were getting some protection up close to a boardwalk. Shorebirds can be a challenge to id, but I'm pretty sure these are ruddy turnstones in non-breeding plumage.

A 15 image "panorama", stitched and processed in Photoshop.

I always struggle with stitching images vertically, Lightroom's effort was awful but some playing around in Photoshop I get this
