This was nine portrait shots, I think - it took about an hour for the old laptop to chunter through the stitching, anyway, and hand-held which, though I say it myself, I'm getting quite good at, with not much image area lost due to misalignment

Anyway, we moved to Wales at the beginning of the month, and this is the view from just up the road from us on a rare dry day (ducks)

It's been a while since I was here (the thread, not the location ), so I thought I better post something. This is from out by Casla in Co. Galway earlier today. Four in-camera B&W landscapes from my Nex-6 with the Sigma 30 mm DN merged in Affinity. I might try a color version of this with the DNG files and see what happens.

That is breath taking. Do you live near there? Can you fish there?

Thanks! Yes to both questions. We swim, paddleboard, and ice skate here. Waterskiing, fishing, and hanging out on the beaches are also popular.
It is the largest body of water in Colorado with 96 Miles of shoreline.

This year the level is way down due to drought conditions so we are hoping for lots of snow to fill it back up in the spring.

Nice! Super nice. I live in Adelaide, South Australia, which is the driest inhabited state on earth (inhabited rules out the artics). So we have nothing like that. Nothing.

It's pretty dry here too which is why they built the dam that created this reservoir in the 1960s. It generates power and provides our water as well as a lot of water that goes into the Colorado river. There is a beautiful canyon, four bridges, and a whole town down there under the water. With the level about 100' below full right now artifacts have been appearing on the shores which is pretty interesting.

I hope so, I was out there in October and I'd never seen it so dry and the reservoirs so low.
