Old photo. In those days, I still did not know how to remove the yellow spot on the right. Alas, there are no sources left.

I'm guessing this is one and the same aircraft but imaged in different positions?

This one is a single cropped to Pano format as the rest of the frame did not make sense to me .

Thanks. It was (very) late spring, some snow still on Ruapehu and the broom was flowering (the yellow in the foreground)

Thanks for letting us know, late autumn blooms - learnt something today . I preasume that the pano was clicked - 2 frames - horizontal ? I also need to look up those beautiful flowers "broom" . All in all an impressive pano. TFS again.

My mistake, it was late spring, a couple of weeks ago in NZ (southern hemisphere).
And broom is considered an invasive species here, an english import from a century or so ago


And you are correct, it was 2 frames horizontal, joined in an old version of Panorama Maker.
