I like your image better than my own. We were with a tour group with a number of elderly folk who had difficulty on very short walks, but even disallowing that, there was no time for climbing up to a better vantage as you did. BTW: The tour was organized by a garden club here in MessyChewBits so it's emphasis was on flowers/plant. Our tour guide from the extreme southern tip of south island was an outstanding botanist. I have images of many, many flowers & plants some of which I'm only now starting to process for posting. Wish I could name them all, but he would reel off common & scientific names so quickly there was no time to write them down. I brought along a tiny digital audio recorded anticipating such a difficulty, but it did not pick up his voice clearly enough to be of any use. For the first several days I would listen it at night and try to record the plant names in sequence so I could go back to and match the sequence of images to the sequence of plant names, but it was hopeless and so I gave up. So, I'm posting many flowers not with comments such as "nice bokeh behind this flower that I cannot name." BTW I recall him commenting that, if the flower is small and white, it's probably native. If it's big and colorful, it's probably an invasive alien.
