Excellent, Paul! A magical landscape (with the requisite element of menace to be really magical).

One from the winter that I just got around to processing:

Cool Paul, it just makes you want to sit by that stream and relax.

One from the winter that I just got around to processing:
I love it, those cypress filled swamps are somewhat mystical to me. You know where I come from and those are kind of "exotic" compared to the woodlands here.

I converted this to a B&W 8x10 to enter at the county fair. (They only accept 8x10!)

Thanks, baro-nite! But really, snapping turtles, water moccasins, and West Nile mosquitos aren't THAT menacing . (I've never spotted any of those, but I suspect they're lurking there at times!) I like the way you captured those cypress trees.

Thanks, Tom - it IS a nice place when it's not 100F like it was today! Your "wheat shocks" looks like a winner to me - good luck!

Thanks Tom. Exotic stuff is fun to shoot. But then so are beautiful scenes of everyday life, such as your Wheat Shocks -- well done.
