I have recently become interested in this. Initially, I found it a good way to make good pictures out of mediocre colour shots.

Now I am trying to shoot shots imagining them in B/W first...

This is an appalling colour shot, but I think it makes an OK mono:


K10D, M20/4, 1/400 @ f/8, ISO200, PP in Silver Efex Pro and Aperture.
