Nice snow scene Joe. This was the last (today's) shot for my Single in November album.

Kiron 28-70mm @ 70mm, f/8, 1/60", ISO100
Thanks John. I am finding that many of the snowy landscapes I am attempting to convert are falling flat in black and white.

By the way, you have a great collection of images in your November album. I have enjoyed many of the out takes you have posted too!

A serene river

This is an experiment to see if--hopeless amateur that I am--I can upload photos. More ambitious efforts will follow if I succeed.

Pepe: great mountain shot, but not sure I like that much grain in the sky.

Here's an outtake from my Focal Length project in December (xposted in FoFL):

XR Rikenon 1:2 50mm L @ 1/1000", f/2 or 2.8, ISO 100

WHOA, this page is EXCELLENT! Pepe, John, Willm, Damn Nice Shooting.

Now, to lower the quality - light leaks from my screwing up the 620 respooling of 120 film, and there's a thumb print too... Kodak Medalist, Neopan 400

Actually I think it adds charm ! As long as your going for that cool old school b&w look theres no harm in going all the way.

Jussi, I wouldn't even want to think how many things I'd screw up in a darkroom now. It's been way too long since I've done any of that. Can you say hazmat crews on standby?

thanks for the kind words -- the accidental I think is a part of photography, though usually this has to do with something happening in the frame that you weren't aware of at the time of the shot... sometimes it's dark bag and dark room screw ups...

this one's not so screwed up, Fomapan 100, D-76, Nkkor 35/2 on a Nikon FE

Those are gorgeous shots Rense. Do you have any suggestions for exposing snowy landscapes?
