Yes, Bogie that's a fantastic shot!

Here's one from last weekend when I was hoping to get some fog by the river since we were having a subzero weekend (hit -30 F a couple of times) but there wasn't any fog.

It is bitterly cold here at the moment, overcast, blowing snow and a windchill of -29C.

Well at -5F you are already at -20C so you have been close. By the time you hit -40, celsius and farenheit are the same (and exposed skin freezes in minutes).

I've been pretty close to that magic number of -40, but never quite made it that I know of. It gets pretty close every few years around here.
Here's a bad photo through frosty glass from a near miss in 2004:


The big numbers are in Fahrenheit.
In these temps, you can't breathe through your nose and if you spit it's solid before it hits the ground.
People break the door handles off their cars because they get so brittle. Not much point because it's not going to start anyway!
