@noelcm, @'pepperberry farm' - I love the old-school feeling of those pictures, they make me wish to go to the darkroom and experiment with different paper gradation on some negatives, which I developed 2 months ago and so far only 'scanned' and inverted digitally.

The below could have gone to 'cloudscapes', but for me, the open view from this point is why I took this picture. I don't often come across such open places in my everyday routine.

I do like this one. It reminds me of the stream (Buffalo Creek near Lenoir) that flows near my sister's "mountain house" in NC.

Thanks Steve, glad you like it. It is indeed a North Carolina scene, and also reminds me of the NC mountains, despite its location in the relatively flat Piedmont in the middle of the state. It's my local state park, a delightful feeling of the mountains close to home.

Meadows at an old arm of the Elbe river

Light wasn't great until later, when I had moved on - colors were bad. But I do like it in b&w.

The Irix 150mm really delivers at infinity - I really like the textures and detail in the full-size version (linked).

I took two very similar shots tonight that I liked, I thought one may be a good black and white conversion so this one is it.

I was camped by this salt lake a while back and saw this roo crossing it as dusk approached.... so grabbed the 150-450 and got a bit of height on a mound to try and get a shot with the roo surroundings salted out.... very rarely does a plan work for me... but this one did.

Amazing plan and result - just as the ones above.
