Friend's truck.
I'm sure that there would be more rust, if it were not for the lichen!

Rust will not be thwarted by a mere layer of paint.

This almost looks as if it were intended to rust.

Anyone recognise any of these bits - a heap of parts thrown in a pile in a farm paddock.

Cannot help with an id for the wreckage in the previous post.
Many decades have passed since a train went over the trestle that this spike helped to hold together. Made me think of the "Steadfast Wooden Soldier." This is the "steadfast iron spike" still standing straight even as the wood it held together rots away around it.

Arjay's picture has at least two star pickets (steel fence posts for farm fencing) and one rocker cover from a motor vehicle. The item in the left hand corner is probably a door panel from a vehicle. The rest? Who knows?

Edit; there is an exhaust manifold there a well.

Looks like some sheet metal (a car door or possibly a tractor bonnet), steel fence posts (as Mr. Grant pointed out), a rocker cover from an engine (also noticed by Rod), an exhaust manifold, a cylinder head, an engine block with flywheel, and a clutch cover/pressure plate.
