This is the underside of the bridge into our subdivision. We will be embarking on repair this coming spring.

When you drive over that bridge, tell all the kids in the car to keep their feet off the floor so there won't be too much weight on the bridge.

I just tell everyone to get out of the car while I drive over it

Job Lot

Either the owner has a thing about Orange or it was a paint job lot... both car and bike same colour (see reflection).

This is a new sign, meant to be rusty from the start.

A museum exhibit: this machine was used by the worker who rode the fresh water pipeline to the western Australian gold fields checking for water leaks in the first half of the 20th century. Out for a week at a time the rider carried his camping gear and "first response" tools on the bike. There was no 'made' track alongside the pipeline. We are lucky to have gear sets and more appropriate tires these days. Brings a new facet to the term 'Fixie'.
