Dave
Well when I took that picture is was not running. And notice there are a number of vacuum lines missing, and the fuel line is not connected to the carburetor.

But after a bit of work replacing the various bits that have suffered the ravages of time, and an oil and coolant change, I am confident it will be running soon. Maybe even in time for the annual Cobra Motors barbecue in August.

Town boundary marker along the crest of a "mountain" range where we sometimes walk Tralee. This perspective is from the more souhern town, Granby.

I have a friend who has made a lot (perhaps most) of his sawmilling machinery.
He might use some commercially available stuff, but I doubt it.

Just a very thin patina of rust on this old mining equipment.

Nice set, if a bit harrowing.
Isn't a harrow supposed to be harrowing?

If it's working in the USA, yes. Were it in England, working atop an ancient hill, it might be barrowing.

This grating was a bit rusty, so I refrained from jumping up-&-down. (Scan, original taken in the Virgin Islands)

Hi Walt
Nah the grating looks normal but I might worry about the supporting timbers.
