USS Yorktown (CV-10), USS Laffey (DD-724), and USS Clamagore (SS-343). The sub has seen better days.

Should've nailed the focus on the post in front of the one in focus, but it works enough for me. Fairly heavily edited, pushed blacks, dropped vibrance, reasonable amount of contrast added, some vignette.

The Lifeguard slip at a local beach. It is, however, their off-season.

Brake mechanism on an old wagon. Bet it would work if the wheels were in equal shape.

Bicentennial license plate. Presumably this car was permanently parked here shortly after 1976.

OK, but what does the rest of the car look like? A GM product maybe. I am guessing a Chevy product........... TFS Cliff

I think it is a Chevy Nova. Next time I take a walk up there I will get a photo of the whole car.

OK here is the entire car with the bicentennial license plates. It is a "Vega 2300". Very impressive of usn ret to identify Chevy from just a little bit of the bumper in the previous shot. Not sure what year, but since production started in 1970, and presuming this was junked around 1977 it didn't live a long life.
