OK here is the entire car with the bicentennial license plates. It is a "Vega 2300". Very impressive of usn ret to identify Chevy from just a little bit of the bumper in the previous shot. Not sure what year, but since production started in 1970, and presuming this was junked around 1977 it didn't live a long life.

Thanks for post of complete car. I do believe it has seen better days. The bumpers on many GM cars form the time, pre rubber bumpers, had very similar bumper styles. Chrome bumpers disappeared from American cars in 1973 , so that narrow the vintage a little. Yep rust never sleeps.... TFS Cliff

When I was a student a Berkeley, my buddies & I found that the price per gallon of gasoline tracked pretty close to the price per pound of cheap ground beef.
