You're 100% correct. I guess there are some out there that can identify Denny Doherty as "Papa" Denny from the "Mama's & Papa's" or know that he was born, grew up, and now sadly rests in a cemetery here in Halifax

Just writing about him has the sound of "California Dreamin'" going through my brain

If I recall correctly the same producers gave our children the animated train that Ringo Starr voiced.

True Theodore was roughly based on the same premise as Thomas the Tank Engine that was produced in UK and narrated by Ringo Starr. The creators and producers of the Theodore were from Halifax and the show was a co-production between the CBC & PBS. The original set of the show (Halifax Harbour) along with the original radio controlled tugs is on permanent display in the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Ironically the display is in close proximity to the Museum's Titanic Exhibit.

If you are interested there are a couple of books written about tugs from the original company that Theodore was part of and represented (Foundation Towing & Eastern Canada Towing or ECTUG) The books were written by Farley Mowatt and called "Grey Seas Under" & "Serpent's Coil"

ok, ok, calling all cars Car 54 where are you?

Yes two of the stars of "Car 54 Where Are You" also starred in "The Munsters", Al Lewis and Fred Gwynne, who also starred as the Judge in "My Cousin Vinnie"

ok, I wasn't old enough to watch the show but I do need some help:

I saw this vehicle when I parked to get some groceries. The only camera I had was my droid turbo phone

can anyone id it? is it a kit or a reproduction or what?

the engine part says "Oldsmobile Rocket"

In SoCal they're called "Rat Rods"...although this one doesn't look 'ratty' enough for some tastes.

thanks

wikipedia is like any other encyclopedia, a good start for research, but not necessarily the best place to end your research

IMO, That's a proper ratrod. It's built just enough to make it go fast. I don't see any of the "trendy rat-rod" junk on it, like mailbox air cleaners, beer tap shifters, or fake rust. This one even appears to have had safety in mind with a disc brake upgrade.

I think that's a Model A Ford coupe (1927-1931) hot rod, with an Olds engine (made up to 1960). The exhaust looks homemade, and the bits of rust make it likely that it is an old metal body, not a kit.

Here's something a bit newer - from the recent car show here.
