I don't work in Renton, so I'm not aware of the condition of the fuselages on arrival. But when I drove big trucks the carrier I drove for was approached about the cost of transporting them by truck from Wichita to Renton. Seems that every now and then they show up with bullet holes in them.


Apparently some inbred red necks find them suitable targets and think that they can be shot down.

It is a good number, especially on a race car... The car, it was the most photogenic one out of the bunch... I think it was the sideview mirrors, made it stand out.
