Quite the trip for a DC3 with full to capacity gas tanks
Wonder if they met up with any of the DC3's from Buffalo Air. One of Buffalo Air's DC3's, according to it's tail number, flew with the RAF/RCAF on June 6th

That's quite possible. A number of C-47s flew across the Atlantic to take part.

I believe it is an Auburn Speedster, but it may also be an Auburn 851, 654, 852 or 852S. I'm not really fluent in Auburn cars, but they are beautiful examples of artistic craftsmanship typical of the era.
Thanks!

I shot a roll of ilford delta 100 accidentally at iso 400, and pushing seems to have worked okay

I think the word "police" is redundant after the NYPD on top... or, do they do not know?

It gets really bad when they say, “NYPD Police Department”.

Sad thing is that I at least know that you're not exaggerating. Not only the agency does this, but people in general...

Some of our police vehicles have police written backwards on the front of the car.
So there is no mistake when viewed from your rear vision morror inside your vehicle !

You see, that one makes sense - I've seen our Ambulances with the backwards spelling - serves a good purpose.

Then there are these numbskulls.

They think because they have the backwards message and are riding your back bumper flashing their high beams at you that you will be intimidated to yield the lane to them.

Doesn’t matter that you are passing slower traffic, and by virtue of your position in that lane you own it.

I wouldn't respect the human being using this on their vehicle...

No more would I. For someone like that I'd like to have a flashing middle digit in the back window but then again the driver of the truck strikes me as the type that would pull out a weapon when I cleared the lane because I angered him

In this instance I didn't need any signs, reversed or otherwise. I know that this was an Ohio state trooper, and it was clear he wanted to have a chat with me.

And this Florida state trooper was just waiting at the scale house exit, North of Miami. As I rolled off the plate he stepped out and motioned me to pull over so he could check my paperwork and driver's log.

After a 15 minute delay, I was rolling again, $25 richer, as he gave me a "No Violations Found" inspection report, and the carrier I drove for gave drivers $25 for every no violations inspection report turned in.
