Hi Mossy

They suite the car, I just don't want to die from carbon monoxide poisoning.

The East Broad Top RR in Huntingdon County, PA was alive, but on life support when I took this photo July 4th 2010. Mikado class #15 (1014 Baldwin Locomotive Works) is topped at the Rockhill Furnace yard limit. A three foot gauge railroad, the EBT hauled coal, ganister rock and bricks to a connection with the Pennsylvania Railroad in Mount Union until April 1956. Purchased by an industrial scrap dealer the railroad miraculously remained intact!. In 1960 a short portion of the line reopened as a tourist railroad and the trim three foot gauge steam locomotives operated every summer and fall until 2011. In February of this year, longtime owners- the Kovalchick Salvage Company of Indiana, PA sold the National Historic Landmark to the East Broad Top Railroad Preservation Foundation. The new owners, and volunteers from The Friend of the East Broad Top are actively rebuilding the railroad and refurbishing two steam locomotives for excursion use in 2021.
