K-3 Mk III + 55-300 PLM

It is fishing boat parked near beach at Sopot, Poland. There ate stalls nearby where you can buy fresh fish if someone is willing to eat something coming from Polish coastal waters.

Are the waters there polluted?

Baltic See as a whole is very polluted, mostly by chemicals from fields. Scientists in Poland predict that it will become dead see or even a sweet water lake if nothing will be done.

But Polish coastal waters have another problems - after WW2 German weapons were sunk in Polish costal waters by everyone - Germans themselves, Russian, Americans. It was a big dump. Among them are chemical weapons: cyclon B (the one Germans used to kill people in death camps), mustard gas, sarin and other stuff. All are in steel barrels and corroded. Catching fishes burned by chemical weapons is already normal here. So I think it is safer to eat salmon from Norway of Scotland, then fishes from Poland. Sadly.

Lovely image.
Looks like they are pretty close to shore, judging by the wave. Or is there a reef there?
