If I see it properly, that Chevy is all metal painted to look like wood - correct?

1933 Mg L1 Magna. The label gives more info than I want to type.

Right - that's why I called it a "near" or "pseudo" woody. No wood that I could tell, although it kind of resembles it...

As recall, some Detroit-made station wagons had fake wood trim well into the 1950's, perhaps later.

Yep, we had a 1970 Chrysler station wagon with a wood decal on the side - and I've seen many a Ford wagon with the same throughout the 70s. And don't forget those "woody" PT Cruisers

All this talk about wooden automotive coachwork reminds me of these. Forgive me if I posted them before.

Dig the license plate.

And an early Bentley.

Lots of wood.

And brass.

Oh yes! I remember those pseudo-retro PT Cruisers. As I recall my reaction was: "if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig."

Two small boats - not the smallest. The one on the right seems to be mothballed. I wonder how easy it is to remove the protective covers, that is, are they put on at the end of every voyage, or only when the owner doesn't expect to use it for many months.

Show-off!

A T-6 (N66WP) out of KMEM departing KPHT. Just a normal departure, so...a bit of a heart stopper. Ya don't expect show-time smoke during take-offl. Guess he saw me with camera beside the runway.
