International 50's Era Pick-Up

On my way to the ballpark on Wednesday (Dodgers Stadium) I noticed this old beat up truck parked in a cul-de-sac. I carry my camera bag wherever I go. So i decided to stop for a few minutes and snap some photos.

I took this with my Pentax dslr using my manual focus Sigma 24mm f2.8 lens. I used Snapseed on the iPad to edit the photo. I started messing around with the drama effect on the photo and after several layers of effects and other settings this was the end result. I added a little tilt shift to it also.

So it pays to carry your gear!!!

cross-posted from aircraft thread:

These are some old Panasonic PnS shots I recently found. Taken at the CAF hangar at the Camarillo, CA airport in 2007. Not sure what type of aircraft this one is - can someone ID it?

edit: It's a Curtiss C-46F. Here's more info on this one, and some others still in existence: Goleta Air and Space Museum: Curtiss C-46 Commando survivors

Great shots. Beautiful looking car. It could be a pig of a car to drive, but that's not what counts.

One of the guys I worked with in Detroit in 1973 had a 1968 Camaro Convertible - bright red - 'go fast' stripes - side pipes - huge, fat wheels - unassisted steering ...

Thanks!

Its not to bad to drive. Mind you, I only drove it for 5 feet. Haha.

Love these classic era cars. Nice to see some people still restore them, rather than making hot rods!

A quick snap-shot through my windscreen of a wet Aston Martin DBS. We got a lot of rain yesterday.
